Following on 18 months after the original Chuck Rock finished, this time you play Chuck Jr. on a quest to rescue his dad with the same combination of platform action and small puzzle elements. The game is perhaps a little harder than the first, but maintains the playability and humour that will keep you going right to the end. The CD version opens with perhaps the best cartoon intro of any game on the system, and there's a good variety of CD audio tracks throughout the levels. The animation is fantastic - surpassing even the original. Longevity is added by selecting the "hard game" option, which changes the levels as well as adjusting the strength of the enemies and health pickups. |
