Fatal Fury Special |

"The fury comes home" "Packing the same brand of unrestricted one-on-one fighting that left you scabbed and broken in the arcade, Fatal Fury Special tosses you on the street with 15 of the World's greatest fighters - including every boss to ever rock a Fatal Fury screen. And if these guys don't knock you senseless, more colours and larger animation surely will. We've even brought the lightning-fast game up to speed - and the "well rested" Geese Howard. So if it's mercy you're looking for - go back to cartridge games." "Updated version of Fatal Fury Special boasts faster graphics, larger arcade-rendered animation, jacked up sounds and music; brand new combos and "special death" moves including Terry Bogard's rising knuckle and Joe Higashi's hurricane punch; each character has up to six different special moves, including counter-attcaks and "taunts"." |

The second rarest official release out there
after the grail that is The Adventures of Batman and Robin, the total number of
known copies is still firmly in single figures - I know of three people, myself
included, who have this one. Limited experience suggests that it was released in mainland Europe if not the U.K. - Damian's originally came from Spain, mine seems to have started out in France and a third collector has one from Germany. |
A one fight demo CD with limited character selection was given away with issue 46 of Sega Pro. |
